Welcome Message

Welcome to my class! My name is Michelle Brister and I teach Essentials for College Math/SREB MATH Ready and Algebra 2. I received my Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University. I have taught for 25 years and this is my 9th year teaching at Germantown High School!!! 

In my math class, I do my best to show my students that math is useful and applicable! I also HEAVILY utilize Canvas for listings of classwork, homework and upcoming tests!

Please know that I truly love what I do. Your child is in good hands when he/she enters my room. If there is anything I can do to help, do not hesitate to let me know!

I have 3 kids: Chris (21), Chloe (18), and Colton (15) and one grandson Kaysen. I enjoy "Amazoning" (if that's even a hobby), loaded teas, traveling, and going to football games.
